«Wake up to the Rock River! What a neat experience to wake up to the Rock River and eat breakfast near it as well. Our room had a patio that looked out to the river; my family loved that!»

«This hotel was ok it was clean it just really could use some updates ice machine was broke on the 1st floor so you had to go to the 3rd floor to get ice the pool was down all 4 days we were there the breakfast was basic at best and one day there was no eggs the staff was friendly and did the best with what they had.»

«The property was beautiful. It was remote and the scenery was picturesque. The sound traveled oddly clear over the lake. We could make out distict voices from the house across the way although it was too far to see them. We didn't mind the noise, though. The problem was that there was no wifi, no bath towels, no hand towels, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no broom. We had to go to the closest walmart 25 minutes away to buy these basic amenities for ourselves. There was a canoe and paddle ...

«Very peaceful view. Lots of birds, fish jumping in the water, barges (can drive up the road about 20 mins to see the barges go through the lock and dam which was cool!). Quiet area and didn't hear or see any neighbors really.Kitchen has almost everything you'd need. Although we didn't use it, the washer and dryer has detergent.»

«The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms ...
