«Perfect location when you need a hotel close to the interstate. The room was very quiet, even though the hotel was located between the interstate and the railroad. Clean and spacious room. The shower was partially broken, but fully useable. Everything else was great. »

«This property has one employee working all night. Marie checked us in. When we got to our room it was dirty and had not been prepared for our arrival. Marie had to come and clean our room. She had to run back and forth from the fourth floor to the front desk 3 times to check people in and clean our room. On top of that we were given a King room when we made reservations months in advance for a two queen beds room. Marie deserves a raise and the property manager needs to rethink their staffing ...

«First, they accused my husband of smoking in the room over the phone so without even entering the room and also after seeing him outside smoking and asking him then to complete check in procedure since we arrived after normal check in the night before. We are a black family so draw your own conclusions not to mention we have a 5yr old with asthma in our room as well..but ok. The room itself wasnt too bad. «As a lover of architecture, it scratched the itch to stay in a historic mansion. Like much of Richmond, IL, this house was many decades past its prime, witnessed by the broken car parked out front and the 70's apartment complex that overlooks its backyard. The home has tons of space and some beautiful original features, but you have to balance them with the broken, mismatched thrift store furniture, the challenging lack of outlets/strangely placed switches and dusty old curtains some on broken ...
