«Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet på 2 netter som familie. Meget rent hotel, hyggelig resepsjonist, god og variert frokost buffé. Det som manglet var badekåpe og tøfler inn i rommet, da var det behov for å benytte svømmebassengen. Personale som jobber på restauranten ( frokost) kunne være mer hyggelige og smiler og snakker med gjestene. De virket litt sure. Ellers anbefaler hotellet og kommer gjerne tilbake. »

«Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes»

«This is a lovely apartment home in a quaint village just outside of Amsterdam. Second floor has a kitchen with everything you need, one bathroom, and primary bedroom. The third floor has two bedrooms with two twin beds each. The apartment has big windows and felt light and airy. Apartment was updated and clean, communication with the host was excellent, and the village was lovely to walk around. This is close to Amsterdam and surrounding areas. We rented a car for our trip but there were buses ...

«This was advertised as a 1500 Apartment with 2 bedrooms. It's a storage unit that they added 2 toilets too. There are no windows, the toilets extractor fans did not work and the host tried to order a new extractor fan on about the 27 of April 2026. The lights/globes in the place were also inadequate and had to go buy a 75 W globe in order to see anything in the kitchen. The second bed was a SOFA BED and the last time I had to sleep on a sofa bed was 40 years ago. »

«Such a beautiful place to stay! The houseboat was definitely worth the trek into and out of Amsterdam - it felt like a little reprieve from the craziness of the city. Took us about 30 minutes to get into town each day, of which was a 15 minute bus ride. The town of Monnickendam was super welcoming and had great food options! One thing to be wary of would just be the spiders - all of us did end up getting bit because there are just so many in the marina that would find their way into the boat. ...

«We had a wonderful stay with Deep and Julie on their Catermeran. We enjoyed some wonderful sailing and anchored near an Island for the night. We had a lovely evening sharing stories over dinner and watching the sun go down! I was impressed how warm and cosy the boat was and how well we all slept! Waking up surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery in the morning was very special and we enjoyed basking up the sunshine before setting sail. It was a great adventure for both children and adults ...

«Es war eine kleine, aber sehr gepflegte für 2 Personen geeignete Unterkunft. Die außer an Kochmöglichkeit, nichts vermissen ließ. Das liebevolle Frühstück durch die Gastgeber war vielseitig. Auch der Gastgeber Klaas stand mit guten Tipps und Ratschlägen hilfreich zur Seite.»

«Im Allgemeinen hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub. Wir wurden sehr gut und nett betreut, das Boot ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küchenzeile hat alles, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Eine Fahrt mit der dazugehörigen Schaluppe durch den Hafen war sehr nett. Einzig die „trockene Toilette“ war für uns leider ein No-Go. Für 5 Personen, die wir waren, ist die Handhabung einfach nicht akzeptabel. Der konstante Fäkaliengeruch, auch im Hafen, war sehr störend. Für uns leider ein ...

Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht und erwartet.Die Lage ist ruhig, und Monnikendam in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.Marieke und ihr Mann waren tolle Gastgeber, sodass man sich direkt willkommen fühlt.
