«Parking was a problem since the hotel shared a lot with an event center. Other than that, no issues. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. A good stay for the price.»

«Breakfast was great! Too bad they were in the middle of renovating. Debris and mess everywhere on the main floor. Would have thought they would keep the clutter and mess concentrated on the floor they were remodeling. Staff was great, though, and let my wife keep her shoulder ice wrap in the employee fridge freezer.»

«I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!»
