«The shower advisable to leave some time in between the next person that enters. For 4 pax, the last pax that showered experienced cold water despite turning on hot water only. The metal cabinet housing the meters outside the house tends to be noisy especially when it gets windy at night. Toilet somehow also had quite a few insects despite windows all closed. The pool was very clean although the solar heating was not effective due to the weather, I guess. Mark and his wife Angela were great hosts and were easily accessible on phone. «Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. «We have been staying at The Vines for the last 15 years and love staying here. Nice comfy double sized beds if you want 2 beds for your room. Kids love going here, so much for them to do from mini golf, to feeding the koi, swimming or whatever. Highlight for my kids is always seeing the kangaroos and joey's right in front of us. All the ataff are absolutely amazing aswell.»
