«Beautiful view, but severely run-down and overpriced. The only positive thing about this stay was the location and the nice view. Beyond that, the hotel is severely run-down and simply not worth the price.»

«Great location in Cape Breton. Clean and staff was amazing. Rooms are older but very well kept.»

«Helpfull Staff. Walking distance to Baddeck centre. Good starting point for Cabot trail.»

«The steak dinner was very good. I left my toiletries bag behind on checkout, and received in the mail 4 days later. Thanks»

«Although the location was good, the staff tried to be helpful and property itself was nice, the lodge was very outdated. They tried to do some upgrades but it was very poorly and cheaply done. The towels smelled like bleach, we had 2 fridges in the room, one works and one wasn't...not too sure why it's there if it diesnt work. The bedding was very old, the pillows were terrible and the bed cover had food stain on it. There was 3 chairs in the room making the room very crowded. Bathroom sink too ...

«Very roomy! The chalet was stocked with so much! I would recommend staying there!»

«Cute cabins & beautiful view 😊»

«We had amazing stay, we spent two nights me and my partner and our lovely dog. Everyone was nice , rooms we’re cleaned over all i would really recommend this - abhi»

Alt i alt en grei opplevelse, men tror ikke vi vil bo her igjen.»

«This was everything we hoped it would be. Unique, private, clean, well equipped as it should be and convenient to the North coast for all the beauty and wilderness it has to offer. Everything worked except for the weather which no one can control. When I come back to Cape Breton, I will be booking Blue Bayou again and well in advance since it will soon be a must for thousands of Cabot Trail visitors throughout the season.»

«Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. And it was so QUIET. Lovely place. If they had someone to help with luggage to get up the stairs, and even a continental breakfast when nothing else is really open around, that would go a long way and would be 5 stars.»

«Thé friendliness of the staff , the great location and the excellent in house restaurant made this a very enjoyable place to stay.»

«Overbooked and had no room for us late at night»

«Room was filthy and spiders all around in corners.»

«Sadly, this was the most disappointing accommodation of our trip. I had dreamed of staying in a dome for years, and after hearing about friends’ luxurious experiences elsewhere, I was really looking forward to this being a highlight of our vacation. Unfortunately, we arrived to a cold dome with very few amenities — just a coffee machine with three pods and paper cups, a bar fridge, and one small lamp that left the dome quite dark at night. There was no running water, and the bathrooms were a ...
