«Place is simple and cheap, could use some upkeep on building, door sticks and the water spigot for the sink drips and being held with duct tape. No bathroom just a portapotty to use. And watch out for the mice.
It's a beautiful location on the west fork of the kickapoo River with access to the River.»

«We had a nice time! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, the beds were comfy, and the hosts were very communicative. Make sure you don’t plan on buying groceries nearby though, the nearest grocery store was 40 minutes away. There are convenience stores if you need something in a pinch, but they mostly have bread and bananas and the like.»

«Great spot for fly fishing—quiet, peaceful, and the perfect escape from city life. The only challenge we ran into was the hot water, which seemed to last only a few minutes. My shower ended up being colder than the West Fork of the Kickapoo! Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. The location and atmosphere more than made up for the unexpected cold plunge! »
