«This was one of the cleanest, nicest hotels in a small town that I have ever stayed in. I travel to Texas frequently and this will be my stop every time. The staff was amazing, hotel impeccably clean and the breakfast was not like any ordinary complimentary breakfast. All the normal eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes PLUS tortillas, salsa, cheese, red and green chili to make a breakfast tacos. Biscuits and gravy and more!»

«We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge!»
