«The Inn both inside and out is beautiful and well maintained. The bed is very comfortable as are the pillows which gave us a wonderful nights sleep. The interior spaces are beautifully appointed with warm comfortable furnishings and soothing colors. «Lynn was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Our stay was very comfortable and centrally located to everywhere we wanted to be. The property was beautiful and scenic, and the home was as cozy and comfortable. She even put out breakfast and coffee for us in the morning, which was very nice! We would absolutely stay again!»

«Extremely family-friendly. We loved all the extras. The mini golf, the trampoline, the s'mores available at the fire pit Etc. We left the layout of the sites where we all had some privacy but some neighborly time. And just for humor of the morning, we loved how the porta potties actually flushed. Laugh out loud. And we really lucked out because we saw a heron we saw an owl and we actually thought we saw a pelican. Oh yes and a little mouse. And the cats were very friendly. See you next year.»

Michelle has thought of everything you might need or want from all items needed to make smores to the hot tub on the property and tons of shower towels in the very spacious shower tent. «Fallerhof is a cute, quaint cottage in a beautiful, secluded setting. Everything was very clean, and it’s a lovely spot for a quick escape. Two things worth knowing before booking: the owners don't provide a key for you to lock the doors with, and there’s no Wi-Fi. The lack of Wi-Fi is manageable if you're hooked up to a hot spot. «If you are visiting Dover Plains or attending a wedding or other event at Preston Barn this is a great place to stay as it is only 1.5 miles down the road from Preston Barn/Old Dover Inn. The house was very clean and sits on a pretty small river where the bird watching is awesome. We enjoyed the deck and bird watching (including a young eagle and blue heron), pool sitting and playing bocce on the lawn. «BUYER BEWARE!!! Everything about this place is a lie! It was so bad I didn't go back for my second night stay and the owners would not refund me!! First off it was 23 miles away not 3 from where we were! Second off the twin bed I slept in was about as old as the house itself! Third the bathroom is disgusting chipped paint, dirty sink and tub, and they charged me a cleaning fee! And last but not least the stench from their cat was abhorrent! I thought they owned a mountain lion!! Downstairs ...
