«If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, Halvorsen House is the place to choose! Just a few minutes from the north entrance of Letchworth, it gave us a perfect landing place each evening. Tons of great space inside and outside for either gathering or spreading out. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck and ending our evening around the firepit. Thank you for giving us such a comfortable and clean home for our visit!»

«We so enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen/living room lived up to its billing. Had lots of great cooking vessels and utensils and the appliances were top- notch. I loved using the large kitchen table to prepare and eat our meals and I had all the needed utensils and equipment to do so. All of the rooms were thoughtfully and beautifully appointed. The large screened-in porch was also a beautiful space to enjoy and much needed as we had lots of rainy weather. I could have used a few ...

«Very good people and clean»

«Charged us almost $400 for a room that had hair on the pullout bed and the shower leaked everywhere. My kids both woke up with backpack. From the pullout coach. We are Gimton members and when I asked if they have a do room they said this is all we have. »

«Very spacious place for our family»

«Our one night stay was way too short to enjoy the beautiful property. We stayed here for our visit to Letchworth State Park. The Glen Iris Inn was fully booked so we chose this as an alternative. Good call when we visited the inn while in the park we noticed most of the patrons were elderly. I had a small issue with the plumbing at 5am, Jessica and Ryan took care of it immediately. The cottage was perfect. If we ever visit this area again we will be back here but will stay longer for sure.»

«Host was SUPER responsive. She replied very quickly to every question. Her notes and signage inside were very helpful - and answered many questions. This is a cottage and has a few quirks, which we found endearing. The beds were very comfortable and the electric blankets were a game changer and allowed us to drop the temp more at night. We slept very well. All furniture was comfortable and little that I could suggest to improve. Did not take advantage of the outside fire pit as we were gone most ...

«We had a great stay overall. The staff was genuinely accommodating and very friendly, which made a big difference. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, tasty, and well organized. The pool was a bit on the cold side, and the jacuzzi jets were very strong (definitely more “hydro-massage” than relaxing soak). That said, everything was working, clean, and well maintained. Despite those minor points, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we’d happily come back»

«What a great stay at this cozy little gem! The hosts are top notch! We stayed from Nov 12 - Dec 19 while waiting for our new home to be completed, they checked in on us in the cold and snowy weather to see if we needed anything, they offered to shovel, put down salt and when we contacted them that the furnace had stopped, they were there quickly to repair.The cottage is clean and cozy, and well stocked. We would highly recommend Dave and his cozy cottage!»
