«It was difficult to get into the room with two tricky combination locks. You can't watch any TV unless you know your streaming service passwords, no free TV. The coffee machine was plugged in but we couldn't figure out how to work it (no instructions available to read). The mattress was excellent and we slept well. Some might not like the train horns, but we didn't mind.»

Michelle has thought of everything you might need or want from all items needed to make smores to the hot tub on the property and tons of shower towels in the very spacious shower tent. Total bonus that it's a quick walk to an awesome food truck and ice cream spot, as well as to the train station»

«Interesting and eclectic camping with many fun and unique features. Mini golf, volleyball, full size Monopoly games to name a few. Tents are great with comfy beds (I slept great), mini fridges and Roku TV. And they stand up well to heavy rain (we had a downpour overnight) with no leaks. Warm shower with towels, 2 bathrooms w sinks. Campsites have fire pits with firewood and Appalachian chairs. And they have BBQs too. The Zen Den is well stocked with food. Location is excellent. «The house is stunning and was one of only 2 hours on a lake. We got perfect foliage for this time of year. Bit of a bummer that the owner did not respond for 24 hours when we reached out about trash bags for the house and we eventually went and bought our own. Owner also attempting to charge us for repair on a chair that was broken when we got there»

«The girl at counter initially helpful- one employee down- so she had too Much to do- graduation weekend- chaos- our room was not acceptable- ac malfunctioning, no other room available - banking like crazy - girl couldn’t help - overwhelmed With customers. Booked thru Expedia- so they intervened and we got our money back- the hotel initially didn’t want to do that. Maybe other times the hotel is ok- might be just one off»

The breakfast bar was*spotless*, and the gentleman there worked non-stop to help the guests. The staff throughout this facility was kind and super courteous. Nice to see these days!!!»

From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing.
