«It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. «Overall our stay was very enjoyable. The cabin was cute and a nice location. Communication was lacking. We did not get the key code sent to us until we had no service to retrieve the message. After a 6 hour drive we had to drive to find WiFi in order to get access. One of the deck chairs were broken and the grass in the yard was uncut. Overall though the cabin was as described and we had an enjoyable stay.»

«Bonnie and Steve were excellent hosts. The communication with them was great. They provided us with suggestions for places to visit and were incredibly friendly. The house was beautiful! They did a great job renovating it and the whole place was impeccably clean and had everything I could think of. There were lots of hiking opportunities in the area that we took advantage of, too. It was just a great experience all around!»

«So cute! Only a few blocks away from the lake. The Dollar General is 30 seconds walk. While yes there is a fire dept the tones aren't bad at all. The fire pit is awesome, but bring your bug spray!»

«1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. «House was great and very well stocked. Really enjoyed our time here. Host was extremely responsive. Beds were made when we arrived, bathrooms had towels and toilet paper (not always the case with rentals) which waa fantaatic!»

«Very clean, private setting. Pet friendly. Enjoyed the pool and front porch! Beds were very comfortable, but the first-floor bed with the Jack and Jill ensuite was too high for seniors to climb into. I traveled with my 87-year-old mother and 94-year-old aunt; they had to use the upstairs bedroom with the lower queen mattress. Great place for a larger party.»
