«Unfortunately, our room had significant issues. From the moment we entered, there was a strong mildew/musty odor. We reported it, but the hotel was sold out and couldn’t move us. As we settled in, we discovered the carpet was damp underfoot, the comforters felt damp, and the air was extremely moist. The window was painted/sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. «The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood.»

«The house and garage are amazing and in great shape. My only point of concern (not really a complaint) is the listing says Central air, buts it’s just one window unit. Not a big deal for us since it was in the 60 at night but it would be hot in the summer. I would still recommend this house and will stay here again.»

«Laura and David were wonderful hosts - we really enjoyed our stay! The Yurt was exactly what we expected and very charming. We had fun interacting with the Alpaca's while giving them respectful distance. We didn't get to see the cows because they were in the next pasture, but there was plenty of wildlife to be seen - birds, deer, wild turkeys, etc. And Rowdy, one of the Australian Shepherds, came to visit quite often and even led us to and from the yurt ! «Man, what can I say? This place was so great. The river that runs behind it is such a great sound to fall asleep to. The apt was immaculately clean. Comfortable beds, the towels were big and lush. Nice hot water. Everything you could need was there. Walking distance to several cool places and food. You have to try the pizza at The Back of the Dragon Brewery. Beth is nothing short of amazing. I will definitely say here again. It was just a great experience all the way around.»
