«We enjoyed our stay very much at Painter’s Lodge. Located right on the water, with a private pier, we soaked in the views and loved that an orca swam by! Staff was very helpful and accomodating. The grounds were well kept, the room was clean. We would have liked to have a screen on the window so we could keep the window open in the evening.»

« Everything was perfect. The cabins were cozy and beautiful. They look small from the outside, but are surprisingly spacious inside. The staff were very flexible and accommodating, and it was convenient that you can pay cash. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back. »

«Room was clean. But although heat was turned off, no AC and the fan/ionizer did nothing to cool the room; opened the window the max 6” it would go (3rd floor) and room was so hot we couldn’t sleep together and didn’t even use a sheet. Breakfast was typical hotel fare, overcooked and bland. Parking areas had lots of garbage and discarded cigarette butts and outside hotel appearance was extremely aged and tacky. If we hadn’t already prepaid we would have left.»

«The staff are friendly and the rooms clean, the disappointment was the roof top deck that was not open. As a summer visitor that was what we were expecting and had I known the rooftop deck was not open and had been closed for the season I would have booked elsewhere. Don't think I'd stay there again.»

«Staff was amazing. Rooms are outdated and smell. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it, I’m sure if they redid the carpet floors and steam cleaned the couches maybe it would have been fresher.»

«Personally would not stay here again. Pros: cheap, close to gas station for snacks, drinks and sandwiches Cons: no housekeeping, the maid never did up the room in the 4 nights we stayed, beds too high, my 90 yr old mom fell out of bed so they removed the box spring which made it too soft and she couldn't get out, no breakfast at all. They charged us more than the booked expedia price. Would not really recommend this one»

«Very simple basic motel. But very clean and updated. Lovely helpful gal at the desk. Great location for exploring the area. Wonderful inlet views. Will definitely stay again when in Campbell River.»

«This is a fraudulent listing. When we called to check-in the phone was answered by an intoxicated person who refused out stay. VRBO provided us no ability to cancel or return our funds. From my conversation with the intoxicated person they are a tenant that is renting the home illegally.»

«It was Okay. The manager found us a room that was cleaner then the first one he offered us. The hotel could use renovations. I understand that it is situated in a remote region.»
