«I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.»

«We arrived late to check in. Cabin was ready for us. It's a cute cabin and looked clean. When we woke up the next morning we noticed how many mouse dropping that we around the cabin. Everywhere. It was hard to enjoy the space after that. We packed up and left on Thanksgiving morning. We were due to checkout the next morning. »

«Because of the size of our group, we booked the lodge along with the campground, yurt, and the homestead cabin. The set up was marvelous for our family of 43. The beds were comfortable, and spaces were well-equipped. The kitchen was our main selling point. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to prepare and serve food. Inside plus outside seating easily accommodated our large group. The weather was too warm to have a campfire, but the campfire space was an excellent outdoor gathering space. ...
