«The laundry room was clean and the receptionist at the front desk was nice. The smell of bleach hits you right in the face walking through the front doors and crumbling brick exterior. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was gross, there were obviously patched holes in the door and the shower head was filthy and had three terrible settings. How this place has the ratings it has are a complete mystery to me. I would never stay here again, it was a surprising a place this terrible has ...

«I just think in general this place is pricey for what it is. I stayed at AmericInn in grand forks the next night and it was so much better, more updated, cleaner, had a pool and hot tub. This place way just super underwhelming. TV sucks, bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The floor was FREEZING. It is hardwood which is fine but obviously it isn't insulated so even though you can get the heat running in the room the floor is always very cold.»

«This was our 4th time staying at Prairie Pines. Once again, Kevin and Lori were the best hosts. Their uniquely personal connection to this property shows in every detail. I speak for my entire group, this is our favorite place to gather annually, and we've been to and stayed at dozens of properties over the last 25 years. Saying our stay was perfect is an understatement. Thanks again, Kevin and Lori, for another great 4 days on Devils Lake (and the amazing rhubarb jam!) »

«Autumn was awesome. She was incredibly nice! We checked in super late around 12:30am but she left the door unlocked for us so we could get to bed. We had fresh doughnuts waiting for us too. She was super helpful with all the questions we had. The room we stayed at was clean and cozy. We will be staying here again for sure! »
