«Let me first say anyone who gave this property a 4 or a 5 must be getting paid. When we arrived they had cancelled our room. It was midnight. No other rooms were available but he magically came up with one. The room was old and dated. The sofa had embedded grime and grease on the arms. The carpet was old and filthy. Furniture looked like it came from a used thrift store. Bath tub was cracked. Didn’t want to sleep in the bed.»

«When you arrive you don't speak with a person you checkin with an agent virtually through a kiosk. I had a room on the 2nd floor and moved everything up to the room, didn't notice til the 2nd trip that the door opened from the outside without using the key and the security lock was cracked and the deadbolt was loose. «Overall, this COULD BE a great rental if the owner cared for the house and improved communication. It took me four months to get a response to revise our stay dates but we were finally able to about a month before our stay so it worked out. There were no hand towels in the downstairs bathroom nor hand soap. And no paper towels. But still those were things we could deal with. «We were unable to stay in this location because of the extremely narrow and steep stairwell that you have to climb up to in order to get to the apartment. This place is not for the elderly. I am only 60 years old and in great health, the stairs were scary for me. The balcony is also very sketchy. The door to the balcony would not lock. «Great property not too far from the beaches! Between the pool, hot tub, mini golf, and theater room, our family had plenty to do at the house when we weren't out exploring Virginia Beach. Owner was quick to respond to any questions or needs as well.»
