«Clean, quiet room»

«Quiet place tucked away in the woods just outside of Marlinton. Pretty property. Breakfast is self-serve continental. Basic, nothing fancy. Good wifi and nice to have TV with a couple of free streaming services already set up. Musty smell in the common areas despite running fans and AC. Not much can be done about that though. Just the way it is in this area. You probably won’t see the innkeepers as they are off property and have key lock access codes when checking in.»

«Cons: Old / run down. Overpriced for the quality. Beds/mattresses were very bad/old, sheets were very thin offering little protection from the mattress (i could see through the sheets), and sheets didn’t seem clean since i found 2 hairs when i opened the covers in one of the beds. Bathroom had lots of marks on the tub and shower head was extremely old. The main point is the place was not clean enough and too run-down. Pros: Room was very big and spacious.»

«Our stay at Allegheny Springs was great. We were on the first floor so we had walkout access to the pool area. A short walk to several restaurants and shops. Fantastic mountain view.»

«There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops.»

«We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home. It was clean, modern, and well designed, with unique features like the indoor/outdoor fireplace, bear carving on the front door, and striking spiral staircase. The home was comfortable, well cared for, and made for a relaxing stay.»

«The room was a dated and basic furniture was uncomfortable. Dining options are limited to one restaurant and a coffee shop. There were 2 fire alarms on back-to-back nights and when we went to leave, the parking lot was not plowed »

«This was such a great place to stay! The room was super cute, updated, and felt just like home. It had everything we needed, including a stove, microwave, and kitchen essentials. The location was perfect being right in the village and close to everything, so we could walk wherever we wanted. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book here again!»

«Loved the decorations in our studio.Pool was lovely,outside pool heated to perfect temp.Easy 5 minute ride to the village.Quiet area at this time of year.They do have a restaurant at Silver Creek but did not stay open late in day.»

«Hot tub w nice but hot (104+). Host was great - very responsive. Perfect for my wife and I. A few ants in the kitchen but considering location was not unexpected or any concern. Really liked the place and if we return to the area we will definitely stay here.»

«Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. »
