«This place was everything we wanted for a quiet, scenic weekend getaway. The river is steps away and has a beach area to set up chairs, fish, and swim. The view from the back is an open field and wooded area. The covered area over the camper has a constant breeze even on the hot weekend. There is a fire pit and we were able to get enough driftwood to get a fire going. Hookups were easy and clean. Do your research and have all the things you need before you get here. «We are repeat guest. As always property was well stocked and very clean. Diane is a great host and always available if needed. Caught a couple nice Blue Catfish, 8-10lb. Kicked back outside by the fireplace and relaxed. We unplug when we are there. No news, no phones, no stress. Not too many full-time neighbors. (very quiet). Those that live there are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay for those looking to return to a simpler time, even just for a few days.»
