«We booked due to a Halloween weekend and upon arrival, we were told it was cancelled. We should have been notified ahead of time. The place was nice, but it was like a ghost town and there were no staff except for a few hours. When the lady was there, she was rude.»

«Purely beautiful with the fall colors. Room was private and clean with outdoor balcony. Enjoyed the evening music and friendly waitress at the bar below Legends restaurant.»

«The room was clean but very outdated. The drape hems were torn. We received a message that the office was going to close early. I called and left a message @ 2;20 asking what time was early and i wanted to extend our stay if there was availability. Our key and room directions were taped to the office window and we were able to find our room with no issue. «Pictures removed from the room leaving attaching hardware. Holes in walls. First room we booked had mold. Went to another room.»

«Hotel is clean and functional. Just quite a bit outdated and dull.»

«Very happy/impressed with my stay. The entire staff were friendly/helpful. Room was clean, bed was super comfy and the hotel is conveniently located to everything you need in walking distance.»

«Room was disgusting, mold in shower on caulking, air fresheners were placed about although it still stunk. There was a plastic bag taped on the smoke detector. Trash in hall ways outside rooms all up and down hallways. When we turned on heater it smelled horrible for a few hours. There is cheaper, and way better options in Gaylord for your stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs.»

«it’s such a beautiful property. I was only able to stop over one night on my way from Michigan to New York, but I’d love to go back someday and see more of it.»

«Made reservations weeks in advance but was given a handicap room. Room was at far end of property on second floor at end of corridor and too close to exit doors. Doors slamming shook whole wall at headboard of bed. Property outside was a mess, very rundown. Reception person at check in was very hard to understand.»

«The room was a traditional small motel room that met our needs for a stopover on a road trip. The room was a bit stuffy. It had amenities like in-room coffee and refrigerator. The office offered some snacks and additional toiletries. It was located across the street from a restaurant/bar but there was not much else around that you could walk to after being in a car all day.»

«Very clean place. Motel was what you’d expect for the reasonable price. Downtown Gaylord was the surprise. What a charming town! Having a nice clean motel in the middle of town a real plus. Walkable to shops and restaurants. I was there during color season. Highly recommend.»

«Great new hotel we loved and will stay at again.»
