«The staff was wonderful but the rooms are outdated there was rust everywhere. The water was so cold u could only be in it for an hour. It was definitely much smaller then expected and the rooms dont come with the water park access u have to buy thise separately. The food was all microwave food except the pizza. «This was a great choice of place to stay while we visited French Lick for my birthday weekend. Just a 10 min or less drive to the casino and lots of good restaurant choices. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and when we were first unloading our suitcases in the room we noticed the smoke alarm was chirping every minute needing new batteries. «The room was large with many amenities (kitchen, large bathroom and shower, microwave and refrigerator and dining room table), but the room was not very clean. There were cobwebs in the window. There were dead bugs on the floor. The floor under the bed was filthy. The furniture was old and definitely needs to be updated. For example, the bed had a dip in the middle. The underside of the bed was hanging down to the floor. The metal pieces in the bathroom were rusted.»

«We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We had 4 rooms which were nice. There were lots of Christmas activities going on. Our dinner at the West Baden resort was wonderful. Both hotels are very nice, but I would recommend the French Lick Hotel if you have kids along.»
