«We had 5 wonderful days at Renaissance in Carambola Beach. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Two very good restaurants, both facing the beach, with options to sit in or out doors. Very nice beach and beach facilities. Snorkling OK immediately westwards from the beach, but fantastic at Cane bay Beach a few km eastwards. We rented a car and "did St Croix" in the morning/mid day, then relaxed in the afternoon and evening at the beach and in the hotel. Hope to be there again some time.»

«Not fancy but clean. As advertised. Property short way up a hill from Beach with beautiful pristine water with a decent reef tropicals by the dozen. Need a car. Watch out for the potholes as you drive the island. Worth it.»

«We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. «What an awesome week we had at St. Croix. Seaview Estate was amazing! Not only was the inside beautiful, the outside offered beautiful views. I recommend watching the video of the house, it's a perfect representation and made us excited to see it in real life. The kitchen was probably one of the most stocked places we have ever stayed at. «Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper, ...
