«This studio was very clean and had a comfy bed, lovely large deck (not a balcony) and a beautiful garden path for walking through the flowering trees and bushes. This made it feel private and removed from the rest of the surrounding houses, each with a large lot. We sat on the deck for meals, and one time caught a beautiful sunset. We were honored to receive fruit from Mitsuko, most of which had been harvested from her own trees. She was a lovely host and we hope to see her again!»

Each morning We had a wonderful time waking up looking at Maui in the distance with Haleakala, towering from the blue Pacific Ocean. Such a relaxing environment with fruit trees, animals, cool breezes and breathtaking beauty all around thank you so much for a great mini getaway for my wife and I. »

«We had a wonderful time here. The setup of the property was such that our large family of 16 (8 adults 8 children aged 2mo. - 7yo) had plenty of room to spread out. The pool area was such a great spot in the middle of the houses for everyone to get together and have lunch or swim. «This Hawaiian style house has been thoughtfully and carefully renovated so that it retains the charm of the 1940s plantation house but is totally comfortable for a longer stay. We loved it. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need - including a wine fridge and plenty of dishware and cooking utensils. Large airy rooms, including a sun room off the kitchen and a dining room. Sit on the expansive front porch and contemplate that you are on an island in the Pacific with a view of Maui in the distance. Feed the animals with pellets provided by the owner. «This is an amazingly beautiful place. You can see the ocean from the bedroom, and when the weather is clear Maui too. There are so many stars on clear nights, and we saw several rainbows. The whole property is basically a tropical garden, with little paths through the woods and citrus and avocado trees, which guests are welcome to enjoy as much as they want. «We loved our stay. Such a peaceful place with an incredible view. The hale itself is super comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for the best swimming beaches on the island, which are a short drive away. We were a bit unlucky with the mosquitoes in what's normally a very dry area—hopefully next time will be more typical. A very special spot that was exactly what we were looking for. Showering under the stars was especially memorable! »
