«Clean rooms»

«Terrible hotel. No hot water. Windows rattle and whistle in modest wind. No shampoo. At restaurant I asked for hot water. It was yellow. I said I didn't want tea, I wanted hot water. It came back a bit less yellow. Coffee is gross, bitter beyond belief. Very loud at restaurant end of building. They don't turn on generator when power is out (frequent). I heard 4 sisters is much better option.»

«Beautiful view and style. Useless wi-fi all four days»

«This hotel is absolutely excellent! It is beautiful, clean and safe and the staff are exceptional! It is a little away from Gondar town which is really nice and it is gated with security. It has outdoor patio area and a rooftop sitting area and a bar. Our stay Included breakfast which was made to order and delicious! Rooms have a balcony and are elegant and comfortable. Hot water at all times and they have a generator. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you to the staff!! »

«Staff very friendly and room was great minus the wifi which was terrible. The only other thing that really bothered me was I was told I could pay by card for my tour and I spent like an hour trying to get cash out because of the issue. I also broke my phone after they kept coming in and to bother me while trying to get money out. Other than that it was great. Oh and food is mediocre, juice is great though.»

«Good choice. Very good service, took us to the airport twice for collecting missing baggage. They served us breakfast at 6am when needed. Excellent Ethiopian coffee! Due to the limited English skills of the restaurant staff, pointing to the menu item is the best option. The reception speaks English well. Some equipment items in the bathroom need repair/replacement. Clean rooms, internet which worked well unless power cuts. »
