«Walkersons is a great getaway to the scenic countryside. Gorgeous views, relaxing and very serene. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Make sure to try the Walforf salad. The unit we stayed in (Gretel), was clean and cozy, but has aged over time and needs a modern upgrade.»

«Everything was really nice only downfall is that the kids play area was not maintained and mostly broken, and the pool and jacuzzi definitely not worth it, although it's spring water there is still a level of cleaning that could be done it was terribly aweful. Staff and stay were good»

«Great space in the 2 bedroom apartment we had. The internal doors couldn't close and we had an issue with the shower spilling out cause the drain wasn't flowing well. The restaurant food really needs attention - we had raw chips on both occasions we ordered (burgers & sandwiches) and the steak was woefully overdone with the second being good. Amazing space with great amenities for the whole family.»

«It was a nice place, we had the hole building by ourself which was great. The host was friendly and helpful. This was the first time a 3 star hotel actually was a three star hotel compared to other hotels we have stayed at in SA. Have in mind we have a european standard in our head. Great place if you are interested in flyfishing or need to stay in the height due to be a professional runner»

«Overall excellent stay, staff and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place that I can call home away from home»

«This is definitely a 3 star hotel. It was safe, clean but rooms are on the smaller end. The tap in our room didn’t work well and the rooms were a bit dark, but the breakfast was very good. The area is safe with the mall right there, which was great. I thought the price was far too high for the type of hotel however.»

«great overnight stay nearby shopping centre easy to walk to.staff were great as was breakfast»

«Perfect location and very intimate which is one of the reasons we will be going back to this property. Still a lot to explore in Dullies»

«The carpets were dirty and I felt like they only clean the inside, the outside stoep was dirty as well. The sleeper couch needs to be changed as well, they are too old»

«Such a beautiful place with beautiful people enoyed our stay.»

«Veldig hyggelige ansatte, hjelpsomme og bistår ved en hver anledning. Rommet var okei, funker godt til en rimelig penge. Har det du trenger. Restauranten var bedre enn forventet, og de gjør gode tilpasninger dersom det er ønskelig. Veldig fornøyde.»

«We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year.»

«The room was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay so much that I would definitely return in the future. »
