«This property has livestock guardian dogs to guard the goats and other livestock on the farm. They barked from dusk until 1 o'clock am when we packed and left the property. The dogs were right behind the house....no chance of sleep.After we notified the owner we left, for the above reason, she apologized and told us that was not the experience she wanted for her guests and we would receive a full refund. «Beautiful cozy cottage. This place has everything you need to settle in. Close to Lexington area. Very quiet and extremely comfortable. Roomy enough to spread out and call it home for a night or two, or multiple weeks. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely going to come back when work brings me to this area. Love it so much!!! «Great room with unique and various features. Dan was over communicative which I enjoyed. The area had some localized flooding so pre-communication was appreciated! It was a quick stay, but we walked to downtown for all the local stores and lunch. Definitely walking friendly. Since this unit is on the 3rd floor with steep stairs, I recommend only bringing a small bag into the room. We loved it if I had to say one negative I wish the Cabin had better lighting. «More than 4 people would be overwhelming..it is a tiny house! Very little problem w/internet service. The owners and workers were very engaging. They provided us w/answers to anything we asked re the Clydesdale horses, their specific jobs, or the property. We never felt like we were intruding on their time or work schedules.
