«We paid extra for a river view room and we were put in a room on the bottom floor where it’s impossible to see the river because of the bushes. It would have been nice to know this when booking and paying extra that you can only see the river if you are on the third floor or higher. Felt kind of ripped off and false advertising. «When arriving, the hotel was getting a new roof. We were told due to flooding that the pool was closed but there was the alternative to use the gym across the road. We were told we were getting a newly remodeled room, but it had just been painted and smelled of cigarettes including the towels. You could hear the air dryers in other rooms drying them out.
