«The setting, on a gravel road in the woods, was beautiful, quiet and private. A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it).
The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. Fresh, warm homemade bread awaited us at check-in. The newer round shower was great. The loveseat was comfortable. Everything worked great.
Debra responded quickly and completely to our one texted question on arrival, and was helpful with the reservation ...

«One of the great views I have ever seen from both back decks and the backyard firepit! We watched the sunrise with our coffee on the deck each morning. We built a fire one evening and just marveled at the view. This house was perfect for us, but understand that it is really out in the middle of nowhere. It's 10 miles to the small town of Jasper and a couple of restaurant options. If you are ok with that level of solitude (and we were), you can't ask for anything better!»

«Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun.
Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. »
