«The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Aside from that it was horrible. Non smoking room smelled like a pack of Marlboro reds , All towels heavily stained, blankets had cigarette burns , sheets were damp, light in bathroom was basically a strobe light. Shower curtain fell off the rigged up 2x4s that were holding it up. I didn’t have high expectations but thought it would be at least been clean. Would never ever stay here another time. «Place was dirty when we arrived. Bed was not a queen was supposed to be shower only but it was shower tub and was 2 ft high I have bad knees I had to go to daughter to shower. Bed and couch both stained oh and it’s right next door to fire station so we got woken up by sirens .As for ac it had a window unit in front room only so bedroom was hot. I would have canceled as soon as we saw it but Vrbo takes a week to refund and I didn’t have the money to go somewhere else!!!!»

«Excellent overall. Walking distance to the college and Lew Wallace study. Lots of history on the property alone to explore. Street parking only. My only complaint is that the windows are single pane glass and allow in a fair amount of ambient nose. »

«An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked.
The gaucho grille was not appropriate for our needs: difficult to manage the heat and the grille surface does not work for burgers, etc. A conventional gas, propane, or charcoal grill would provide ...
