«I personally didn’t like the extra fees that the hotel charged even though Expedia charged fees to cover the stay. The fact that you had to pay 25 per night just for parking . How the breakfast buffet is 100 with an automatic 18% gratuity included for a party of 3 (2 adults one child ). How the indoor water park closes at 8pm but you can’t check in until 4 pm . In the end we had a good time but it would be nice if we wouldn’t be surprised with additional hidden fees especially if Expedia charges ...

«The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby was very inviting with the fireplace on. There was coffee and water available, if needed. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool areas were very nice, also. My husband and I will definitely return.»

«We were definitely disappointed with our stay. At check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. And while they did offer a full refund if we wanted to book elsewhere-that would have been very stressful to do after a long drive. We may have booked elsewhere had we known prior to checking in. «I booked this hotel because it was pet friendly and close to where we had plans. I knew from research that the hotel was outdated, but I thought that it might be kind of fun to stay there. «Spotlessly clean upon our arrival, the rooms already pre-heated for the cold day, and every amenity available we could wish for. That included firewood and starter kit for a nominal fee, plus rowboat with safety vests and oars included in the cabin price. «This was such a peaceful stay. We took our dog with us ($75 by the way. We didn’t know it was an extra charge) and she was so happy with nature, us being city people. The hiking trail was great. I loved that there was no television, but my husband didn’t! There is wifi though. Next time we will get a stand alone cabin for more privacy.
