«We always wanted to stay here and now we have! The views and campus were absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. The room was quaint but not sure worth the luxury price. Air conditioner was a little loud which I guess helped quiet the talking at the bar since our room was close to it. Ice machine was outside and there is no elevator if you are older and need that. «We have stated this Hotel number of times while in the Sprucepine area. They are renovating the rooms, so some are updated, some are not but are still functional. The Hotel has really easy parking in front of your room, you can get a good night sleep here.»

«We had so so much fun during our visit! The location is so beautiful, we were so fortunate to see the peak of fall colors and it was breathtaking. We saw the sunrise over the mountains right from our cabin and we had a clear view of the sky for nighttime sky gazing too, the stars are so much brighter! The actual drive to the house was super manageable, didn’t need 4WD so long as you don’t try to drive up the gravel driveway, which Michelle advises against anyway. «Charming, well-stocked rustic cabin in a beautiful area. Not a fan of the blind gravel driveway, especially with the rainy weather we experienced, but not a dealbreaker. Jeff was a helpful and responsive host, and we appreciated the welcome wine and s’more ingredients. There were plenty of blankets, space heaters, and a fireplace to help stay warm, and the sunroom, outdoor grill area and firepit would’ve been put to good use if the sun had cooperated.
