«Super cute little motel. The kids loved how small and "old school" the place was. The only downside was the ac is a window unit, so it was fighting hard to keep the room cooled. Also, the microwave was almost coming apart on the side, but we didnt end up needing to use it. Aside from that, would consider staying here again. As a side note, the room we had looked nowhere near as nice as what was pictured. Clean, but could use some minor repairs.»

«Our host was extremely accommodating. Communication was great. We were supplied with firewood and a great place to cook out. We spent our last evening by the fire pit and it was quite peaceful. This is the perfect place if you want a camping atmosphere without the camping nightmares (poor sleep, bugs all night, etc.) Our bed was comfortable, our shower was warm and the kitchen was clean and user friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s Place.»

«The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost »

«Beautiful homestead on a farm filled with antiques. The walls were painted in a beautiful country scene. The host was absolutely amazing. We were a large group of 17. 4 of them were children and Kelly just took a shine to them. She really made us feel at home and welcomed. We stayed for a week and they even took us to their church. Highly recommended. Made our vacation/ family get together memorable.»

«The property was a great escape from the city. We enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the nature and wildlife in the area. The property was clean and very accommodating. We highly recommend this property and it was an easy drive to the Mammoth Cave National Park visitors center- about 20 minutes down Flint Ridge straight into the park or about 30 minutes via the interstate, which I would recommend after dark.»

The kitchen is nicely appointed, with quartz countertops, large, deep sink, and gas stove, dishwasher, etc. We had eight people around the table for dinner, and it was not crowded. The original fireplace hearths are still visible in each of the downstairs bedrooms, and there is an open family room adjacent to the kitchen.
