«We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!»

«Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future.»

«We had a fantastic time at this VRBO rental cabin. The location near the woods made for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Hosts were very accommodating. Being near public hunting grounds was a huge bonus for us as well. The cabin was spacious for three adults and a teenager, providing ample room for everyone. The overall experience was great, and we highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to enjoy nature and have a memorable time in the woods.»

«We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very prompt in addressing some difficulties checking in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but there was space for everyone. The location is wonderful. Great spot to sit outside or check out the river or swing on the tree swing or build a fire. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make all our meals as well.»

«My one daughter and grandson couldn’t come, but my other daughter and her husband had a great time. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make a nice meal and eat it. The living room had comfortable chairs, and enough room for a family. I really enjoyed my stay.»

«Generally great with a couple of nits for those traveling with infants and toddlers. One was on cleanliness - had some dust around beds that we needed to proactively vacuum (there was one provided) given our younger son is very exploratory, and we observed some mold in the washing machine as well. Second is that the spiral staircase is slightly hazardous for young kids who may be able to slip between balusters. But otherwise, location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.»

«We were very pleasantly surprised by so many things about our stay. We enjoyed the pool which was clean, warm, and well stocked with balls and pool noodles. The community room with a pool table, foos ball and shuffle board table was a fun surprise. In the home, the bathroom was new and very clean, the dining area was nice, the bedrooms were very good, and the family room was great. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the kitchen because the oven had such a bad odor that ...

«If a manager from outside the Wisconsin culture is running the motel, he needs to realize that most Wisconsinites are Brewers and Buck fans. The Brewer game was NOT provided per the TV and in fact paying for the game was required. Such excessive cost after the room is already purchased is VERY inhospitable and frankly anti-social.»
