«My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks to help family with a move to the area. One of our grandkids loved spending the night with us. He especially loved the hot breakfast buffet every morning and swimming with his Papa in the big pool that was almost always empty! He even got brave enough for the big slide at the end of our stay! «Made very welcome in the downstairs barn suite and had three comfortable nights' sleep. Enjoyed breakfasts and being able to come and go as we pleased. For someone getting on a bit (with a hip replacement) I did find the toilet rather low and the comfortable easy rocking chairs a challenge to get out of! However the positives well outweighed any such challenges.»

The power was out for most of our stay - not their fault, it affected the whole region - but the wood stove, the propane stovetop, and wood-fired hot tub meant we could still enjoy all the things!
