«There was a funky smell to the room one night and they offered to bring up air freshener. It cleared by morning. Our tub didn’t feel particularly safe for showers. The tub sloped and there wasn’t much grippy coating left on the bottom for balance on a slippery tub bottom. Breakfast was ok but the ice machine was wicked loud if you sat by it.»

«Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. «This is a clean, quiet, comfortable condo. It is not fancy, but has good beds, plenty of hot water for showers, and included every imaginable amenity such as bottles of water and condiments in the refer and coffee in the cupboard — very thoughtful. The neighborhood was absolutely quiet. The host responded to messages promptly. Overall, we had a most pleasant stay and would absolutely return. »

«Winter 2025 began as a dry year, the week after Christmas didn't deliver much snow. We arrived and it snowed abt. an inch, which was plenty for this S. Tex family to enjoy with the steep drive up the hill. The Alpaca Barn was full of amazing history and was educational for all of us!
