«We arrived at 8pm, having called in advance to advise of our arrival time. We had booked a table in the restaurant at 8.30pm (the final sitting according to the website). We were disappointed to hear the restaurant was shut when we arrived. We were offered no refreshments (our booking stated a welcome drink)- the village was very quiet with only a burger place open so we had very little choice to get something to eat. Would not return.»

«I feel a little bad putting a low review on as Oliver the host was superb. Great communication and was available when we needed him. I have marked the place down on cleanliness as we had to clean most of the plates in the kitchen and there was a lot of mouse droppings in the swimming pool area. The house does have 6 double rooms but one of them is in the loft space of the outside git and overlooks two other bedroom so if you were to go as 6 couples there would be no privacy for two of the rooms. ...
