«I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. It does have such potential to be amazing if there are some changes made.

«Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely historic home. The little ones were sure we were in a castle! Everything was clean. The kitchen was super well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices, and all that we needed for big family meals. It was great to have enough room to all be together, yet have places to enjoy some separate games and conversations. We just wished we could stay longer!»

«I was pleasantly surprised by this listing. It was larger and nicer than what I had expected. The beds were VERY comfortable, probably the best I've slept on in a rental property . We had plenty of everything we needed. Just a note that there is only 1 bathroom, but everything was clean and well appointed.»
