«It's a typical hotel on the highway. If you're looking for the Ritz, this isn't it but it's clean, comfortable, has a VERY helpful staff and the breakfast offerings were good. Overall I like this hotel and would be happy to stay here again. You can't beat the location and local fast food choices were very good. Overall, a pleasant stay.»

«They started laying carpet and had blocked the doorway. They were so helpful and very concerned about my safety. (I use a cane). They helped me get the luggage cart from the entry, over the blocked doorways and back out to the lobby after I had loaded it. The desk manager helped me take the cart akk the way to my car and helped me Unload it. He definitely went beyond with kindness. I am already booked in for my return trip home. Excellent halfway point between my friends home and mine.»

«I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express multiple times and other locations. This one was the least enjoyable the room was not cleaned between days of my stay one of those days was my fault as I left the do not disturb sign on the door by accident but the other days I expected the room to get cleaned and it didn't the room had obvious signs of excessive wear and it appeared the bathroom had been flooded at an earlier time as you could see a watermark on the door in the bathroom»

«The staff, Meadow, was very helpful and kind. We were welcomed with bottled waters and treats for my grandkids. She was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. My grandkids really enjoyed breakfast. Overall an amazing experience!»

«Nothing fancy here, just a nice clean place to stay. Not as updated as other hotels but again, clean and comfortable. Smaller pool but it looked like kids were still having fun. Unique check in system but hey, it works. Breakfast again nothing fancy but all the basics. Would stay again.»

«I like that the website offered...lots of amenities and things to do...but when we got there EVERYTHING was terrible...toilet overflowed..clogged up didn't flush...the air conditioner went down..NO AIR...we ordered a screened in porch..didn't get one even there were ones right across the pool..which is what i thought i ordered instead stuck us in back with a nice expensive golf cart rental we needed to purchase to get around...especially to the toiletsfor our family of 7!!!...7...anyways the ...

«Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!»
