«Very comfortable bed and staff was welcoming and kind. Property is a little older and could use some updating but if you are looking for a clean comfortable bed that is affordable, this is a great place to stay. The property is right on the river. Breakfast only includes carbs.»

«It’s a wonderful property but they only give out bottled water in the rooms to reward members. You would expect the $1 water bottle to be included with the room for such a nice hotel. Even motels include water. Outside of that, the hotel and staff were fantastic.»

«Good quality plentiful breakfast, good mattress, good shower, poor maintenance: just above floor wall power receptacle cover plate broken power connection wires visible, door entry prevention (when door unlocked) hasp broken off sharp metal edges exposed. - Advised staff during stay, so they can get maintenance to remedy safety problematic items. Security very good, as is the location.»

«The house was newly renovated, very modern, and extremely clean. There were also plenty of kitchen utensils available. The staff were very friendly and brought us extra chairs to sit on. The surrounding area of the town was beautiful as well, and it was very relaxing to walk around the park nearby. Overall, everything was wonderful!»

«Not only is this a delightful heritage home, but the hosts, Rob and Liisa are wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. Lanark is a bit of a backwater, but Perth is nearby with an abundance of places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Clyde Hall!»

«Rooms were very clean and the beds were well maintained. The mini-fridge and microwave in each room were nice and useful. AC/heater was easy to figure out. Owners were lovely and helpful during check-in. It's just outside of Perth, so there's only fast food nearby unless you head into town. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay!»

The hot tub and fire pit were highlights (bring or purchase wood, bring robes, and extra towels—it’s worth it in any weather).The RV stayed warm and comfortable—just bring indoor footwear.
