This property was clean and quiet and most importantly, properly priced. The loft is air conditioned with plenty of natural light and is adequately appointed. The owners were on site and available, promptly answering inquiries. I would absolutely stay here again. It is located in the very heart of one of the most beautiful places ...

I’m too old to do the dune climb by my standards, but the hiking trails (one almost out our door kept us enjoying ourselves. Great people we rented from and can’t say enough good things. »

«Have always stayed at the Brown Bear but the 1st stay in Kodiak was very nice and comfortable. The dishwasher wasn’t working but that was ok we did the dishes and left them out to dry when we left. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. I missed the screened in porch but it only rained for a few days. Can’t wait to come back! Thank You!John Meister »

«We have been coming to Crystal Lake for many years, and this was the nicest property we have ever stayed at. The house was so clean, the deck and the beach were just wonderful. The upstairs bedroom was perfect for our grandchildren. The owners Chad and Diana have added many little touches that made this stay a home run!! Communication with them was perfect. We can't wait to come back, again if I could give 6 stars i would. I highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect Northern Michigan ...

«Very nice house with large bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen and an overall comfortable feel. View out onto the lake is nice and it's great you have your own dock. Great location to go either east over to Traverse City or west over to Lake Michigan. Also close to M-22 and dune areas. »
