«The staff are super accommodating and lovely, all the food served, dinner, breakfast and the packed lunches are yum as. Room and bed were spacious and comfy. Highly recommend to anyone doing gorilla trekking at Buhoma.»

«Excellent lodge and location for exploring the area and gorilla trekking!! »

«My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived. ...

«the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating and generous. The views at this Lodge were some of the best I have seen in all my travels. I can't recommend staying here enough. »

«Wonderful stay! Friendly staff and the food was incredible. We would definitely recommend this to somebody who wants a great food experience and nice accommodation while visiting the gorillas! »

«The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. »

The public area has plenty if seating and a lovely fire in the evening. We had 2 massages, which were pleasant. The beautiful courtyard has many plants and outdoor seating. Staff arranged airport pick up and drop off for us. Breakfast is included with cost of lodging. There is a menu for lunch and the chef chooses nightly dinner menu. Staff is ...

«The place is very nice and clean, however we felt a little bit scammed for the price of the food which is over European standard. They only have one choice and asked 20$ for it and you really don’t have other options in the area. They let you pay also the water…the road to come is very bad also. I’d not stay again»
