«Koselig hotell i American River. Hyggelige ansatte og rene rom. Vi ankom rundt 19.30 og klokken 20 stengte matservering og like etter resepsjon. Vi fikk bestilt god mat til tross for det nærmet seg stengetid. Det kunne med fordel vært opplyst om stengetid på hotell og restaurant under informasjon om hotellet. Kaldt på rommet da vi ankom, men god AC. Mulig varmere på rommet på sommerstid da vi var der på vinterstid.»

«Rommet vi fikk var i bakre del av "hotellet" som var husvogner som ble brukt til hotellrom. Flotte, store soverom, stue og kjøkkendel og stort bad. Positiv overraskelse. Nærområde med spisesteder og butikker. Alt rundt stengte kl. 20.00 om kvelden, inkludert restauranter og butikk.»

«Clean room, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Couch was pretty worn and the internet connection didn’t work, but that was probably due to the storm damaging the starlink antenna. A nice place to un-plug, but you’ll need a car as there’s very little nearby.»

«Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. «Kevin, the property owner was very friendly and helpful. I was stuck on the island unexpectedly due to bush fires on the mainland and Kevin assisted me throughout. Apartment itself had everything needed for both short and long stay. Beautiful location allowed for an amazing sunrise view as advertised. »

«A perfect spot if you are looking for a new experience away from the hotels and crowd. The bus is conveniently located just off the road from the ferry terminal. It has a double-bed and fully equipped kitchen. The shower has running water but the toilet is less sophisticated. We traveled in a caravan before so we were prepared.
