«Koselig hotell i American River. Hyggelige ansatte og rene rom. Vi ankom rundt 19.30 og klokken 20 stengte matservering og like etter resepsjon. Vi fikk bestilt god mat til tross for det nærmet seg stengetid. Det kunne med fordel vært opplyst om stengetid på hotell og restaurant under informasjon om hotellet. Kaldt på rommet da vi ankom, men god AC. Mulig varmere på rommet på sommerstid da vi var der på vinterstid.»

«Rommet vi fikk var i bakre del av "hotellet" som var husvogner som ble brukt til hotellrom. Flotte, store soverom, stue og kjøkkendel og stort bad. Positiv overraskelse. Nærområde med spisesteder og butikker. Alt rundt stengte kl. 20.00 om kvelden, inkludert restauranter og butikk.»

«Enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and tidy and well equipped. Even had breakfast supplies and loaf of homemade sourdough bread. Great location.»

«There were only 2 mugs and two teaspoons for a property that sleeps four. One coat hanger in each wardrobe. A few more would have been useful.»

«Clean rooms, basic bedding, kitchen utensils underdone (no paring knife, no potato peeler), kettle slow and very noisy.»

«We enjoyed every moment! The tent was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our visit amazing:) A beautiful setting and very well maintained grounds. We got to enjoy breakfast on the deck with the Wallabies. Perfect experience to add to the Island. »

«Overall, we enjoyed our stay, however, at this price point, there were simply too many issues. The property was extremely dirty, every piece of kitchenware, cutlery, and glassware had to be washed before use. We tried contacting the property the day before our arrival to ask about food options but never received a call back. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work during our stay. «This was the first time we traveled to Australia and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Ecopia Retreat in the Residence property! The Residence was beautifully decorated and the back yard was full of wildlife! It was a perfect stay for our family for 4 days. The host was always available and so friendly. The stars at night were unbelievable! Totally off the grid and relaxing and special!»

«This is a hidden Jewel where you are all alone on a cliff right above the bay it is magnificent with quick access to all the natural wonders offered by Kangaroo Island this space had everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen minus the food of course»
