«Loved my stay here, large space with a view of the snowy mountains and farm land. Comfy bed. Will be booking again.»

«Great small hotel by the ocean walking distance to the town centre. Very friendly staff»

«Great location and good modern motel»

«It was good overall but the reason I didn’t rate a 5 star was because there was either bed bugs or flea in one of the rooms. I got bites all over the body and very itchy. I still got another 10 days on the road so that makes it quite frustrating. The place is great, just need to deal with the bug bites.»

«Helpful staff, proximity to town, clean & warm. Only negative was disability bathroom not draining and always wet.»

«The owner of this property was really lovely and accommodating. We have come back a few times now. Each time for different reasons and sometimes needing abit of extra help. We’ve never had a problem with him not helping us out which we appreciate very much and are very thankful for.»

«This recently renovated property had friendly owners, was spacious and quiet. Would recommend for travellers on a budget.»

«Code for door hard to unlock, tv in bedroom wasn't connected to freeview and parking horrible»

«Was not happy with reception/owner - advised her that we would have to cut our trip short by a day due to a family situation that we heard about via phone as we were arriving at Bella Vista Kaikoura. Owner not helpful, insisted on full 2 day payment and offered no other options. We only stayed the one night and returned home the next day feeling disappointed by lack of empathy for our situation.»

«Great accommodation at a budget price.clean and tidy. Basic Maintenance required..several dripping taps, one of the stove elements not working, and communal cooking smells filled the hallways etc. But at $80 for a 4 bedded room with pristine views and linen supplied, this was exceptional value for money.»

«The place was great! Maybe not for everyone but perfect for anyone with kids or just looking for something a little different. We are seniors but have done a lot of camping and this was glamping at its best. We picked the yurt which had an outdoor kitchen and an external bathroom. Everything felt really authentic yet still very modern. It all was just there as one would expect from a nice hotel but presented in a different way. Kind of a cowboy camp or depression era type of a kitchen outside ...

«Nice have the golf course right there on your doorstep! The meal we had at the restaurant was delicious. Probably the best dinner out i have had in the last 10 Years!!»
