«We stayed at this wonderful property 2 nights and wish we would have had more time to spend there. The property is on a beautiful setting. You have wonderful views of the mountains and wide open skies. It's located very conveniently to of course Fort Davis with a short drive you can be in Alpine or Marfa. It's also close to the McDonald observatory and not super far from Balmorhea State Park. Will definitely stay here again!!»

«Never saw any office staff - door was unlocked (as our email said) and all was clean and cute place. Coffee maker did not work but coffee shop was across the street.»

«Perfectly, conveniently located, private-feeling house for our family of 3. Well-stocked kitchen was great for making a meal or two a day, which is a good call with the somewhat limited dining options in town on Sundays / Mondays. «Remote location was quiet and private but very close to Ft Davis as well as other area attractions (Mcdonald Observatory, Balmorhea State Park/San Solomon Springs Pool, Ft Davis State Park, Marfa, etc.) The cabin was clean, well-equipped and the bed was super-comfortable. Saw aoudad sheep and many Texas songbirds during our stay. There's hiking available with great views of this spectacular ranch property»

«Our stay at the High Frontier Resort was only 3 days in the middle of the week, so we had the entire place to ourselves. Check-in was quick and easy, as our room keys were waiting and available at the door.
