The reasons for the 3-star rating were as follows: 1) The thermostat in the room didn't work until (at 2:15 am) I turned it off and back on again. I had set the thermostat to 68 degrees on the 'cool' setting when we went to bed as it was 73 degrees in the room. I woke up drenched in sweat as it had gone up to 76 degrees. «Not many amenities to speak of. Front desk clerk was so nice and friendly and helpful. Rooms not very clean. Beds were good. The police escorted someone out during the morning which was concerning. We checked out as soon as we could.»

Dirty washcloth still in shower. fridge shelf with spilled dried liquid. originally was assigned a room that did not exist b/c it was in an area that was being renovated. thankfully I didnt have to traipse all the way back from the 3rd floor to the desk to get the correct room b/c the person working, came to find me and told me the correct room, which was just around the corner. sheets seemed clean. nice hot water for shower.»

«I had an issue with this hotel in the past where we asked for a late check-out to which we were granted, but the manager took it upon himself to then enter our room when I walked a load out... just as my wife was getting out of the shower. It was a whole big ordeal where I almost got the police involved and after this stay, I almost wish I had. It's been a few years since we've been to this location and it's under new management but I'll be damned if the same thing didn't happen this morning! ...
