«Great place to stay»

«We had a great 4th of July at this Lake House! Just as advertised. Hosts were exceptional!»

«Very comfortable and welcoming place to use as our base camp for exploring the area.So relaxing Thanks»

«Excellent stay. Host is very quick in responding to questions. »

«A bit dated but very nice. The staff were great and we had a very nice stay. Just a few small things were noticed. Faucet needed repair as did the toilet. We would stay again perhaps»

«I always do a bedbug inspection under the mattress at the beginning of the stay. I found a dead one and took a picture. The staff member eventually refunded the stay (I of course went to another hotel and never slept in this one ) but she was rude.»

«Best hotel in a 2-week trip. Friendly staff. Ultra clean. Great view. Extremely comfortable and clean furniture. Other hotels should pay attention.»

«It was a great hotel»

«This b&b is indeed a mansion, and a true Victorian beauty, lovingly restored and fully furnished with beautiful antiques and art. Our room was gorgeous, very spacious and extremely comfortable; we wish we could have stayed longer! Our host was extremely helpful and gracious, and we appreciated the variety of food on offer for breakfast and snacks. We will certainly make a point of staying there again should we return to the area, and we highly recommend this property to anyone who appreciates ...

«Stable wifi signal allowed solid video calls during my visit so work didn't pile up too much away from home office base.»

«Not for us. “Vintage” means old & creaky, narrow doorways and old bathroom fixtures. Not romantic as was expected from reviewers. “Do it yourself breakfast” was unexpected and why would we want to cook while on vacation and in a strange kitchen? Then there was no OJ, no fresh muffins or pastries, only prepackaged foods. The only decaf coffee was instant and no plain coffeemate. Only whole milk. We went to Perkins! Across the street were barking dogs and other guests (a family) talked ...

«Clean, everything as described, quiet location.»

«Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not ...
