«I paid $63 before tax for a Wednesday night. This was an excellent value for the price. It's an older hotel but my room was nice and it appeared the bathroom had recently been remodeled. I had a big screen TV that was easy to use, the A/C worked well, the bed was comfortable with 4 comfortable pillows. Refrigerator was large but did not have a freezer. One minor thing for me is that I am a shower snob and the shower was low-flow (but plenty of hot water). I would gladly stay here again for ...

«We stayed the week of the 4th of July. It is a peaceful rural setting on the river. The sound of the river moving along the deep pools and across shallow rocks is so tranquil. Each evening they open the dam and flood the river with fresh water which recedes by morning. This process keeps the river from becoming stagnant and it is a wonderful place to play in the water and search for rocks along the gravel bars. The house is perfect for a large group where everyone wants their own separate ...

«The place served its purpose. We needed a place to sleep and it was great for that. I wish the listing would of said there is another suite above the property. The host answered questions very quickly and overall it was an easy process.»

«We enjoyed our stay at River Oaks. The house was perfect for our two families with 7 kids ages 19-5. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The pool table was a huge hit. The only downside was that the weather didn’t cooperate at all. Historical rainfall meant the river was not swimmable while we were there. Also, we were on a river in summertime so the bugs loved the area as well. I highly recommend taking advantage of the screened in porch in the evenings. It’s a great ...
