«This was our second stay at this property. It is such an amazing place! Full kitchen with all the cookware and dining needs, comfortable beds, laundry, all in a cozy, quiet environment. We binged on Roku TV! We made an error in our reservation and contacted Larry on our way there. He made arrangements to accommodate us. He is a great host! Not many consider Northern Iowa for a vacation destination, but this is an oasis if you are looking to simply unwind from your daily grind.»

«Stayed here a few nights while visiting family and it was a great fit. It's an old store/community center that's been converted, and the history is the real deal — not some manufactured retro theme. There's a working 1960s jukebox, a pool table, and real old-school pinball machines. My kids had a blast. It sleeps 9, but there's table seating for over 40, so we hosted a family gathering while we were there. Worked perfectly — way better than cramming everyone into a hotel or somebody's living ...

«The location looking out at the lake was great and easy for us to load the boat! A lot of extras were provided to make the stay more comfortable! Our family loves it!»

«Inside house was clean and beds comfortable, pull out couches not so much. Could use fans in the bedrooms. Had a lot of crawling "inch worms" that got into the house. Trees above outside deck dropping alot of stuff on to patio tables, furniture that needed to be cleaned multiple times. BBQ grill hadn't been cleaned recently and no cleaning tools. Should be cleaned by staff when they come in to clean house. Nice to have a dock to use. Nice area, peaceful lake area in the evening. Kitchen well ...

«Beautiful and quiet lakeside location with easy access to town. It is very close to the bike path and there was space in the garage to store our bikes when we weren't riding the path around the lake. The house is clean and bright with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We looked forward seeing the sun set every night, so lovely! The host was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!»

«Great home and location! Loved the spa bathroom Minimal dishes (can’t even bake a birthday cake) No baking pans, pizza pan, or mixing bowls, 4 plates and little glass bowls. Ceiling fan in the living room doesn’t work. Remote does, but not the fan. Tip…If the main floor lights are on after sunset, bugs cover the front door. We opened the door to leave and swarms flew in. It’s best to go through garage in the evening. Host gave a garage door opener so no issues but only the single tall garage ...

«Very nice place! Super clean and very modern! Great for families!!»

«The property was well stocked with toiletries and all lights and fans were labeled which I appreciated! I wish there were more towels, so each person could have two big towels after a shower. Also a lot more make-up towels! Other than that, the home was perfect and I loved the two fridges and ice makers! Highly recommend»

«Spotless. Comfortable bed.»

«This was our second time renting this house. Our grandchildren would like too make this an annual event.»
