«The hotel was clean and comfortable, except the water pressure was low and the shower head needed to be replaced. The restaurant food was great and all the staff in both the hotel and restaurant were lovely.»

«OK hotel - close to river. Apart from that - not very interesting surroundings. But a good starting point for excursions - like Arthur's pass etc. Free parking. Breakfast: OK. Dinner: Good. Room: Clean, good, with a small terrace (we had a good view of rain and clouds). Friendly staff, helpful with advice on the town - and road conditions etc.»

«A lovely, quirky hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable, onsite bar and restaurant had a good selection of beer and a small but tasty menu. Definitely recommend!»

«Friendly, kind and very helpful hosts. Very much so! If you need any help - you will be in the right place. Rooms are usual/basic.»

«Ok for 1 nite. Basic room. Walls thin & can hear neighbors & traffic from road. Bed could use new mattress. Good location to pancake rocks & Truman track. Restaurant where you check in was AMAZING! Had Sunday roast & muscles. HIGHLY recommend restaurant which is walkable from property.»

«Nice little apartment with a sitting/kitchen area, a small private deck, separate bedroom, and even the bathroom had a separate toilet. The place was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Parking was free and our place was also quiet facing the back street. Can recommend the place and would book it again if in the area.»
