«Elevator was down. very pretty hotel but I payed early to check in early then the power went off 2-3 hours after being there and I was told a refund was not available. I understand not being able to control electricity but I still would have liked at least a partial refund because I was not staying in a hot hotel overnight with no electricity.»

«Tub did not drain,stains in tub from standing water, hair dryer did not work. Piece of foam on plywood would have been more comfortable than their king size mattress. Do not recommend this place at all.»

«Very Clean. This is an older refurbished motel. The stairs were difficult to navigate with luggage for an older person. The room lighting was minimal. No blow dryer in the room. Overall, not fancy but a good sleep to break up your journey»

«The house is beautifully appointed. It is so clean, quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and the view of the river was gorgeous! Great communication with the hosts. They responded immediately to any questions we had. We were visiting my so. At WVU and it was the perfect place to be out of the traffic in Morgantown, beat the price hikes of hotels. Very easy drive to Morgantown.»

«I have to start with how impressed I was with this hotel. Usually this chain doesn't impress, but this hotel really did. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. They have a nice indoor pool and spa, a hotel bar that opens around 6:30PM and a nice breakfast that closes a little early but it was good. The room I had was perfect for what I needed and the price was right!!!»

«Staff was wonderful,but room-could write clearly in the dust . Tub had dried soap residue on walls. Finger marks on mirrors. 3out of the 4 drawers did not stay shut. Pool was not opened as stated had pool. Was told you can get refund from Expedia. 5 in the afternoon grandsons graduation next day dodnt have time after traveling.You get what you pay for.»

«Staff is super pleasant. Our beds were very clean & comfortable. The floor in the room could have been vacuumed better but no big deal. Microwave & refrigerator worked well and were clean. Coffee in lobby was always full, fresh and hot. We would stay here again.»

«Room appeared clean, but trash from previous occupants was found under the bed. No cooling mirror. Window blinds were broken and did not go up past 12 inches from the bottom. The room was dark even with the lights on in the bathroom had a dim light so no place good to put makeup on. Light switch is outside the bathroom so if you’re sleeping at night and you’re not the only one in the room, you have to turn the light on and open the door to the bathroom and it floods the room with light. «This is my third stay at Suburban Studios over the last couple of years. In addition tobeing a great location right off the highway and a good stopping point along my journey, the staff and site are very welcoming. It is nice to have a full kitchen on long journeys. I travel between Minnesota and Virginia twice a year and Suburban Studios will always be my go to!»
